Week commencing 4th March 2019:
On Monday I attended the Special Needs Action Panel (SNAP) conference at Flitwick. I had the opportunity to speak to parents of children with additional needs, and understand something of the problems they face.
In the evening I attended the Leighton Linslade Town Council Grounds and Environment Committee. I was pleased to see the plans for updating the play equipment and resurfacing a number of our play areas.
On Wednesday I attended the Development Management Committee at CBC to speak against the planning application for flats on the site of the former Leedon service station – sadly, permission was granted.
In the evening I attended a Governors’ Meeting at Leedon Lower School.
On Thursday I met with the Head of Grounds and Environment to discuss measures to prevent parking on grass verges on Stanbridge Road. In the evening I attended a meeting with Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway, along with Cllr Ray Berry, as the Town Council representatives.

On Saturday I joined the regular Street Watch patrol.
